To cater to customers who handle everything from site development to earthmoving, John Deere has added the 200G model to its excavator lineup. This machine is designed to complete a range of tasks, including road building and irrigation work, all while lowering overall operation costs.

“Many of our customers are balancing tight budgets with the need for maximum power and productivity on the job,” said Jonny Spendlove, excavator product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry. “With the new 200G Excavator, we are giving our customers the best of both worlds. This machine is built with fuel-saving at the forefront of its design, while also incorporating several productivity-boosting features to help operators efficiently complete jobs.”

The 200G model has a 145-horsepower Final Tier 4 John Deere PowerTech™ PSS 4.5-liter engine, and it burns 11% less fuel than the 210G. It comes with adjustable power modes, which can be set by the operator depending on the job.

The hydraulic system of the 200G also allows for faster swing speed, ultimately resulting in more productivity. The machine is compatible with several different buckets, and customers can opt for a hydraulic coupler to quickly change between attachments for more versatility.

Ground-level service access allows customers to quickly service the machine, ensuring that it remains in working order. To learn more about the 200G Excavator, in addition to the rest of the excavator lineup, visit www.JohnDeere.com or contact your local John Deere dealer.
